Help for Owners and Managers

Padzilla is just one resource. We screen tenants, but you may have other questions or concerns about renting property. For example:
- Can I exclude children?
- What if I have lead paint?
- Can I keep the security deposit?
- Must I give a 14 day notice for non-payment of rent?
We recommend two primary resources for getting help, other property owners and your local attorney. Below is a list of Owners Associations located across the State of Maine. The dues to join are usually minimal, and every month these groups get together to meet, socialize, brainstorm and share their experiences and knowledge. We encourage you to consider joining one of these Associations. It's neighbor helping neighbor.
